At Detox De-Stress the ear is used as a microsystem to access the whole body and is  therefore used to treat many conditions.  We have been using ear acupuncture at Detox De-Stress for a few years now and have seen some amazing improvement to health issues especially hormonal imbalances, food and nicotine craving, anxiety and depression.

Ear Acupuncture

Ear acupuncture is an effective and accessible way to treat a variety of conditions  The National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) developed a special protocol of ear points to treat addictions and emotional trauma. The NADA protocol is used in many addiction and recovery centers around the world. Chronic and acute pain conditions respond well to ear acupuncture.   as well as successfully aiding weightloss and the cesation of smoking.

Clinical studies have also shown that acupuncture can successfully aid fertility by increasing blood flow to the uterus which thickens the endometrial lining aiding implantation. with regards to fertility, ear acupuncture also aids ovarian issues, endometriosis, inflammation as well as regulating menstrual cycles.  We recommend ear acupuncture to support IV.F Ideally commencing 1 or 2 months prior to the commencement of the IVF.  We would also recommend cupping.

Common ailments acupuncture  could aid:

  • Weight Loss
  • Fertility

Does it hurt?

While the experience will be different for everyone, acupuncture usually doesn't cause discomfort or pain. The tiny needles used are specially designed to be as pain free as possible  due to their being extremely fine.  “It doesn't need to hurt to be effective".  The most you may feel is a slight prick which after a second or two actually disappears. although many clients do not even feel the needle going in.
